An Odd Looking Tiger Barb!

So it may have been my fault not to have checked the fish thoroughly when i bought them, but they were taken from a tank that had over 100 fish so i just said: "give me 6 of these please", when they were in my tank i discovered that one of them didnt have the white stripes, and was actually quite see-through! is this normal for an albino tiger barb? heres a photo:



p.s. other than looking strange she behaves and eats perfectly normally...

I've seen this before in many albino fish. Angelfish even have this occur and are sold as "blusing" angelfish. I'm pretty sure it's nothing serious, however I'd even like to know. BTW I have a normal tiger barb that is missing the section between the tail fin, and anus lol. I was hoping it'd be something like that lol.

But yeah, I think it should be fine.

Funny you should post that, last week when i was selecting my Tigers i was in two minds about the golden/albino ones because i spotted a fish in the tank that looked just like that. I didnt find it very attractive in all honesty although im sure there is nothing wrong with it. But it did help me make my mind up to get normal Tigers.

I'v never seen one like that before. The other tigers are very nicely marked though; the ones they get in my LFS are always mis-marked with a spodge of black between the stripes below the dorsal fin.

I have a normal tiger barb that is missing the section between the tail fin, and anus lol. I was hoping it'd be something like that lol.

How weird; can you put a pic up?I can't imagine what that looks like.
