Amonia alert

Hi All

Has anyone here used a product called amonia alert by a company called Seachem? If so, any good? had any Problems?

I saw some of these on ebay and was thinking about buying some...I would of liked it if someone would of responded to your question so I could know if they worked or not too.

I've got one in my tank. It's been in there for about 2 months now and it seems to be working well (I think!!). Since I bought it, it has not detected any ammonia so I cant tell if it works or not. I suppose that means that my water quality must be pretty good huh! . I do still test the water and still have not detected any ammonia, so far it's been accurate.

The amonia alert should not be used as a replacement to water checks but as a rough indicator.
