good man i was planning on around 3 of them so they are most suited to sand i take it well decision made, 1 question tho do the plants keep well in this type of set up ?

yep. the sand dosnt damage the corydoras mouth-bristles (i dont know the real word)
and yes plants would do great, amazon style tanks with some sandy bottom and dense plantation always look amazing
