Makes you wonder why we worry about water parameters and water changes!!!

Which is of course paramount to fish keeping and not recomming keeping tetras in the toilet lol

haha, cool.
How could such a large goldfish be flushed though

Believe it or not, my Grandfather used to have to go down in the sewers for his job (had to do with a sewage company or something can't remember) and he would tell my Mom how he used to on occasion see huge goldfish! Guess this might happen more often then realized.

Are yu sure this isn't another version of the Urban Legend about crocodiles and giant turtles in New York Sewers?

I can kinda understand surviving in human waste - but I cant understand surviving the bleach / toilet cleaners and other soapy stuffs that end up down the loo.

Good on ya fishy!!

I suppose it would all be diluted down just enough for the fish to just about survive, but not comfortably.

I agree. You have to keep in mind it's not just chemicals and waste in the sewer. Lots of regular water goes down the drain too, along with any rain water etc.

And don't forget you still have ammonia from all the human waste down there. It must have built up some sort of immunity against all that "crap"
