i can dream, its not the matter or buying the tank its more the running cost which i reckon would be the problem, also having the room to do that in your house that is also a problem, but dreams don't cost anything

t is ridiculous and must have cost a fortune, fish probably aren't cheap either!

the rays probably weren't but the rest are rescues (one fish from a public aquarium lol) or are commonly sold in shops for a fiver - even though they grow to about a metre long lol

Serious? Anyway, If I had it, I would dump nutrients into it, then plant it with anything growing underwater, and areas of shallow and land, some places dim, others bright, rocky, some sandy, little schools of fish, a few larger, etc.

The problem with basements is... they flood, unless he lives on an incline,hill etc.

I would just flood the basement and add strong lights...depending on the basement.
