Just wanted to tell you that sometimes a fish can seem on it's last legs and then recover. Last Wed. evening I noticed my lovely Flying Fox stuck in a hole in the bottom of a plastic plant pot I had on it's side in the tank. I didn't panic and try to push it through either way, maybe injuring it more, but took it out and cut carefully down to the fish with scissors and released it that way. Well he seemed in an awful state, shaking and laid on his side gasping, with a deep wound all the way round his middle, where he'd struggled to free himself before I noticed him. I wouldn't have given him a cat in hell's chance of surviving until next day and almost euthanised him! I love him as he's big now and deep in the body and a lovely fish and peaceful, never bothers any other fish. Well next day he was swimming a bit and is back to his normal behaviour now and eating well again. The wound is healing over nicely too! The plant pot came straight out.

lol true tho init, the fictional 'hell' we see in film and cartoons is always hot and in flames etc... a snowball has no chance.
