Amazing Blue Ram

I was at a LFS That i normaly go to, so needless to say the owners and staff are very accostomed to me being in their. I was looking at a hospital tank with one baby blue ram in it, "I felt bad he was in their all alone!" I asked one of the employe's what was wrong with him and a lump on his head was brought to my attention I had no clue what it was, as it didnt look like a fungus or infection but more like a birth defect of the fish. So i rescued him and brought him home and put him in my 40g tank with 4 guppies and 3 yoyo loaches. the lump on his head dissapered in about 5 hours Do I have a merical tank? I wish I had taken some befor pics but i will post a few of the little guy. He seems to be fine now, he likes to chill with my loaches Now I just have to get him some freinds! "Oh what we do for these fish!"

That's pretty cool that he healed up that quickly! Especially that soon after being under at least a bit of stress from the transfer and drive. I'm sure he'll do much better in your tank as I'm sure you're a little more careful and watchful of him!

Edit: I just saw you're from sacramento!! That's pretty darn close to me... What fish stores do you reccomend in the sacramento area? I visit every now and then.

I ussually go to capitol city aqarium in down town sac. They have anything you want. No joke the place is huge. They also just opened one up on howe and arden yesterday accually. The one on howe is the cleanest and freindliest I have ever seen. And they have a beutiful 5000 gallon house reef tank with 3 ?black fin sharks? Ill be working in their starting next week. And ya, my little Ram is doing great, he seems to think he is a loach though

I'll have to check out both of those! I've heard about the capitol city aquarium downtown but haven't ever visited yet but I'll have to next time I make the trip down there. That's pretty cool you'll be working in on of the stores though, bringing knowledge to the crew!

Oh awesome, Sacramentians! Yeah the one on Howe and Arden is pretty cool, called "Fish World". I just wish they had more Central/South American Cichlids. Another Store I could recommend in Sacramento is Pet Connection on Auburn. Its kind of a run down place but they have a great selection and the fish are cheap.

Man, I'm gonna have a lot of LFS to check out when I visit sacramento!! If you guys ever make it up north their are a couple cool shops here in chico you can check out. Nothing TOOOO out of the ordinary and nothing probably compared to your stores but still some cool stuff nonetheless.

Ya were spoiled up here in sac. I have fish world in walking distance to my house and they have just about anything you want. And if they dont have it capitol does Its crazy. Right now im debating over frontosa or Silver needle fish to breed out. They both sound nice and challenging!
