I have a amano shrimp female pregnant in a fresh water tank.. what’s the likelihood of these babies hatching and living in freshwater? I don’t have anywhere to be able to separate her and I’ve read the larvae need salt water to survive? Is it really this awkward or can I just move her to a small fresh water? Just seems all a bit much for shrimp when she’s managed to actually breed in there already?šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€šŸ¦

No likelihood at all. As you have already researched, the young shrimp larvae do need salt water to survive and marine microorganisms to feed on.
I've found that shrimp, given half a chance, will readily breed whenever you have males and females.

This might help you if you want to have go at creating a brackish environment for your shrimp.
