Am I Overstocking My 20 Gal?

No worries, I have nothing but appreciation for every post here and I apologize if I unintentionally came off defensive or unthankful.

And thanks for the tip, onidrase -- I am rethinking the black ruby barbs. I've done some reading online and I guess like most species their behavior a little unpredictable too. I mostly just want a barb or tetra species that won't nip fins, but I'm beginning to think I should not do such an active schooling-type fish and instead opt for slower moving and less chaotic fish. Thoughts?

You never did, appreciative all the way. I am the one that saw a potential for miss read and was proactive,
All good .
Again, Kudos for caring enough to research, and expect pictures of the stellar tank you WILL have.

Cories like to sift through sand for food. As they do this they pass it through their gills and trap any small particles of food they find. They won't be able to do that with gravel.
