Hi everyone!

I was just wondering, am I overstocked?

29 gallon
------------
2 julii cories
1 panda cory
1 male betta
2 female bettas (perfectly fine with the male)
1 albino cory
3 paleatus cories
5 glowlight tetras

I do 2-4 gallon water changes every day...

Am I overstocked?

i dont think your overstocked (using my mind to picture the tank) i dont think 2-4 gallons daily water change is nessary, im sure a 20-30% weekly water change will be good enough.i do think you have too many bottom dwellers IMO, with all those cories, they may not be enough floor space, then again my mind isnt that good and i could be imagining the 29 gallon smaller than it is.is it planted? live plants help with the water a bit. picture would be good :good:

Hi. Are you doing water changes every day because you have a problem with water quality? I agree that once a week might be better if your not having a problem. I don't think you're overstocked either, but I tend to overstock myself & make up for it with extra filtering capacity.

^^^ same as everyone else says. Looks great, but what is with the daily water changes? That really is not necessary unless you have a water issue.
Keep in mind, if the bettas mate, one of them may end up dead. That's a tricky combination, the male could turn at any time.
