I have got a Rio 180 tank which contains

26 Neon Tetras
6 Cardinal Tetra's
1 Black widow Tetra
6 Scepta Tetra's
6 Tiger Barbs
1 Clown Loach (was 3 other 2 died of white spot)
2 Blue Gourami's
3 Rosy Barbs
3 Cherry Barbs
2 Chech Rams
5 Swordtails.

Im thinking about getting at least another 2-3inch clown loach to accompany the current one.
(all thought the current loach thinks he is a tiger barb as he acts like one and is constantly in the tiger shoal)

The pic below is blurry (rubbish camera) but gives a lil more of an idea to space etc.

(it wont let me post the pic in this thread)

any tips or advice on any aspect would be appreciated

Daniel

180 L = around 48 gallons, so a rough guide would be around 48" of fish.

Looking at the list i would say your fully stocked if not overstocked. IMO i wouldn't add any more fish or move some fish before adding new ones.

Cheers for that! im thinking about getting more plants etc to add to the tank does this effect the 48 gallon 48 fish ratio thing at all?

Easily done!

I'm the other way around spend so much time with the aquascaping side of things, the stocking plans get forgotten.

I would give some thought to returning the single clown loach. They like to be in groups of five or better and your tank cannot support 5 clowns regardless of the other bioload in the tank.
