Am I overstcocked?

I have a 40 with an Emperor 330 and some extra aeration.


My list of fish is below.

I'd like to get another Rainbowfish, and maybe a mate for the Gourami. Of course, there are 600 other fish I'd like, but hey, limits are limits right?

But I don't know what is overstocked and what isn't. Hate to have to move fish into a second tank, but that might be an option.

I think that as long as your tank is stable you should be able to add both to your tank. Just make sure regular maintenance is done and that you water parameters are in spec and you should have no trouble with this. I am not familiar with the rainbow, if there are any special considerations ie. male female ratio etc. but there is definitely room for both. HTH

Have to agree with tstenback on this one. Theres plenty of room for two more fish, as long as your tank is cycled and you perform weekly maintenance!
