7 Peppered Corys - 21"
2 Blue Rams - 6"
2 Angels - 12"

That = 39 inch in a 45 gallon tank, BUT

I also have 10 neons and 10 sissortails... With the neons it comes to 49 and with the sissortails it somes to 79". But i thought that neons dont really come into and that the sissortails mite, but im clueless now. What do you all think?

The sissortails will be going back to the fish shop when i can find one who will take them. Today i was told by two shops that 10 is to much and they are "hard to shift" But i can try a few moreplaces :)

Your thoughts please all :(

Kev

i would say no PROVIDED you
1) overfilter
2) clean and change water regularly
3) dont overfeed

overstocking is based mostly on bioload. angels are a big bioload, neons are miniscule bioload. i would say you are okay if you do the 3 things i listed above

thats great :) the filter im running is for up to 90gallons, i do 35% water change every week and feeding is getting sorted out with some help from yourself :) cheers

I think too that you are ok if you just have energy to change water every week. Nitrate test tells you how often and how much you have to change water.

Does the tank LOOK overstocked in your opinion?

What are the water stats a week after a water change?

Either way I'm sure the Angels will start thinning out the Neon population sooner or later :hey:

you know the look test isnt that accurate. its only accurate when your fish are all full grown. personally my tank doesnt look overstocked at all but i know it is because i have a bichir and a lima shovelnose that arent even close to full size right now.

but yes those angles will start to pick off your neons eventually.
