hi All,

Could someone advise as to whether i am fully stocked.

I have a 150 litre (uk) tank with 14 young platies.

l=77cm x w=43cm x h=43cm

I would like to get a shoal of neons or maybe 2 larger fish gourami??

Please advise.

thanks,

Dave

I'd say you're there or there about fully stocked, yes.

As a rule of thumb you can have about 82cm worth of fish in your tank. Your Platies will grow to about 6cm so you already have 84cm worth of fish...

You can go over but you'll need to ensure you change and monitor your water regularly, plus make sure your filter is over spec'ed for the tank.

I would be comfortable with putting the Neons in, but not the Gourami.
Like Lunar said, make sure you monitor your water, and your filter is coping. Otherwise you will be up for more frequent water changes.
