Am I Doing Right

Hi I have a slight problem with 3 of my 5 bleeding heart tetras, they have developed a white substance on there tail / fins (see picture sorry for quality). I am currently on my 3rd day of treatment with waterlife protozin white spot & fungus treatment. No other fish in the tank are affected. Is this the correct treatment as i think it is white-spot (maybe fungus) but any ideas would be gratefully appreciated. Do i need to take the affected fish out of my 220L tank as the only other tank i have is a small 13L tank but if they need to be isolated from the other fish this is the only way i can do it. My tank readings are ph 7.4, ammonia 0.0, nitrite 0.0, nitrate 30, tank temp 27 degrees.....Thanks

just to add i did remove the carbon from my external filter before i began treatment

Is it on his body as well as his fin...because if so it could be fleas ive read that fish can catch fleas

No only on there fins, none at all on there body, the fins are all still intact and the fish are just behaving as they usually do

It could be fish lice maybe some one else can help with that... a lot of water changes is what I can suggest it might help

Yes it's most likely white spot or fungus, difficult to tell from the pic (can you get a better one?). It could possibly be velvet but the med you are using covers that as well so just complete the treatment and see what happens. If there's no sign of flashing (rubbing on objects) then it's probably not white spot.

Cheers for the advice guys, the tetras are not rubbing themselves on any objects, infact they are the same as usual. I cannot do any water changes until in finish this course of treatment, all i will do is finish the course as and report back on here if there are any improvements...Thanks
