I finished my fishless cycle a last sat..i added my fish on wed..all my tests were good.

i suspect there would be a littlt bacteria bloom to happen..the hazy water started friday
so am i correct or something eles going on

40g breeder
1 aquaclear 30
1 aquaclear 50

Can I jut ask; what ppm of ammonia did you cycle to? What were the actual numbers from your tests?

It sounds like a bacterial bloom, but they would normally happen near the beginning of a cycle, not usually at the end.

i started me cycle on july 16th it ended on sept 29th..i started my ammmonia at 4.0ppm..when i got my nitrite..droped the ammonia down to 2.0ppm.
so when sept 29 came i did my test and the readings were

0ppm ammonia
0ppm nitrite
80ppm nitrate

so i did a large wc to bring down my nitrate and redosed ammonia to 1.0ppm only to keep my bacteria alive till i got fish,so the day before i added my fish i did a final wc.
then i added my fish

That all sounds good. It probably is a bacterial bloom, and as your nitrate is still quite high, I'd do a big water change and see if that helps.

the nitrate was at 80ppm before water change.now i did my tests its at 20ppm

Regardless of the hazy water is the ammonia and nitrIte still at 0 since the fish are in?
I've never seen a bacterial bloom and I've got 3 cycled tanks and 1 in the process of cycling.
