Hi,

I have been running a canister filter on my Red Sea Max 250 mainly to increase filtration and to hold carbon, phosphate and nitrate media.
However after returning home to face yrt another another flood (3rd time in 6 months) I no longer want to do this.

Due to the design of the tank I cannot add a sump/refugium so was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to replace the filter?

Thanks.

Stef

Unfortunately due to the design of the tank it is not possible to have anything hanging from the back of the tank.

Have you considered an inline filter? I have always wanting to try to make my own inline filter using 10" house filter canisters.
