Alternative Pressurised Co2

Hi all,

I read on the net about some guy in Australia who put together a DIY pressurised CO2 system using a fire extinguisher.

Has anyone tried this in the UK, and had any success?

Until now I've used DIY yeast/sugar, so all I know about is that method (which worked but was a bit messy and needed a little more maintenance that I would like.

I've done some digging, and I can relatively easily get hold of the cylinder itself. What I then need to source are the following, I think:

1. Pressure regulator

2. Needle valve

3. A reliable place I can get the cylinder refilled when necessary

I'm no expert, so if anyone out there can help me by telling me what I've missed out I'd appreciate it.

Also, anyone know where I can get the above?

Failing that, have a look through your Yellow Pages under welding.
