Fish Aficionado
Hi Guys!
So I've been really enjoying "trying" to photograph my fish but the lighting is really poor in my tank. It has a built in hood/lights (this one) so I'm not sure what other options I have. I also think I'm limited to just buying the interpet bulbs (this one). Ultimately I would like a "built in" alternative to what I have but if this isn't possible is there anything I can put on top just for taking photos?
A built in option would be nice in case I decide to go planted in the future as well...
I have one of those LED light bars with magnets and hooks for you to keep in your car in case of a break down and I put it on top of my condensation screen last night to take some pictures (it helps a little, if the fish is in the right part of the tank). Then I forgot about it and the lights on the tank switched off on the timer just leaving the LED bar on. It looked BEAUTIFUL! I'll post some pictures later on but it was this gentle light filtering through just one corner of the tank kind of like a spot light but it honestly could have been a beam of moonlight shining into the tank.
I look forward to hearing your expert opinions!
