wrs, i'm having the same problem, my molly fry are just over 11 weeks and they seem like they've been the same size (about half an inch) for the past month or so. there are about 30 of them in a 10 gallon. is that too little space for them to keep growing at a good rate? they seem to have plenty of room. i have another 10 G with just a few cories in it right now that i could move some to. also, how early can you tell what sex they are?

what are you feeding them and how often? You may be able to sex them in a few more weeks. 30 in a ten gal should keep growing fine a 20 gal would be better or farm them out as you have suggested. But i think the big thing here is food and frequency. :)

i feed them a mixture of regular flakes, veggie flakes, freeze dried blood worms and daphnia all mixed together and crushed. i guess their growth could have slowed down because i've been gone the past three weeks and had someone feeding them- it was only once a day. i usually feed them about 3 times a day, but i'm probably going to cut it back to two.
