To put or not to put that is the question _ 600L aquarium getting set up right now, 1.8 meters long : Do I put styrofoam on stand under aquarium?

If it came with the tank and they had it like that before, then yes! If there wasn't any with the tank, make sure stand is clean and so is the bottom of the tank.

If the tank has a plastic frame around the bottom, then no!

thanks so much because i have been told so many different thing. tank has its own stand, no foam under it previously, plastic rim around edges with all glass bottom
so it sounds like i will leave as is.
so we made it back alive! (but barely) and now begins the fun... will try to update progress as i am sure to have many questions along the way
