Hi all,

I currently have a Ehiem 2217 1000 l/h in a 600L tank but i'm thinking of adding another filter to help keep the water super clean.

Ideally I want to spend around £50 tops and was looking at some of the AllPondSolutions EF1000 - EF2000 range. Anyone use them? What are they like for general usability / noise? The Ehiem is whisper quiet and I don't want to buy anything that's going to make a racket in the front room... or break down on me

YEs I have the 2000 and love it, def worth the money. I haven't had any problems with them. Some people have said the basket handles break as they are weak but if you are careful they are fine!
Mine also doesn't make noise. Mine is in my bedroom so I might be used to it but it definately doesn't make a lot of noise!
Have cleaned mine out and it is easy to do!

I would reccommend spending the extra £25 I think it is for the 2000 though! You wont regret it and its excellent quality for money!

cant reccommend these enough i have the 2000 and i will be getting another 2 for my new set up
