Hello Guys My names Babi and I tought Id join this Forum as Ive just recently got a tank, and dont really Know that much about keeping tropical fish although my partner has kept them before.
Anyways, I have 2 balloon mollies pearl and mrs. moody also 4 plateys cilla, areefa, gringo and goldie and then the Neon 4.
They are all doing pritty well Ive just got 18 fry aswell yesterday, Dont know who slung those haha but they are in a little nursery net thingy me bob and they are eating crushed flake and swiming around quite happy..Im guessing I will need to buy another tank for those in a weeks time or something? I wasent expecting to get all these babies so soon
I have 2 other pets aswell, my dog who is about 15 or something like that and she is abit batty bless her and then theres my cat Spunky who is 2 years old this august 24th.
hmmm think Ive go on for long enough now Just wanted to say a big Hellooooooooooo and I think you will prob see me on here a lot as I totally need help...with looking after my fish..not in general lol although Im sure some would disagree with that!

Eek I know I have a laguna..hey dont laugh it gets me form a-b But I really like sports cars and classics, I get to use quite a few in my day job. Also my partner used to race stock cars and stuff like that

Has you both live in lincolnshire any advice on good LFS for buying fish. I used to live in Grimsby and used Sixhills Aquatics but this only a small (But Good) shop, Now live in Market Rasen and would like to find some LFS around this area that I can pop in, I work as a BT engineer so get about so anywhere in lincolnshire would be good

The best one Ive found Is Brigg Garden Center Loads of tanks fully stocked and the people there seem to know what they are talking about and are helpfull. It just out of Brigg on the caistor road.

Cool its worth a look, although I have only just got started with keeping fish myself

Popped round there and quite impressed, Large selection of fish including lots of L No's and other catfish and the clown loaches are 2 for £6. I just paid £5 each for smaller ones

Large selection of dry goods as well with a "If you want it we get it for you" system.

Guy there looking after the place at the time was a fish keeper himself (Cichlids) which always a good sign (No minimum wage none fish keepers like you get at places like pets at home).

Spoke to the guy for what must have been a hour or so even though I already told him I was there just for a lookie and was not buying anything at the moment. Also a good sign.

Gonna see what prices they do me for a 72"x30"x24" Tank on tuesday.

Will be going back once tank ready for more stock

If ever you come to south lincolnshire there's a maidenhead aquatics in crowland, near Peterborough. They have a good selection of tropical fish, aswell as chichlids and marines
