(I cant find a photo of my blue Betta, but I'll post it as soon as I find one...) :fish: :fish: :fish:

my girlfriend would love the artwork of the 55 gallon. She loves egyptian stuff!!

Great work :)

you wanna hear something really freaky? I've got the same 5 gallon tank, same color, the same kind of cave(different style) same place, and the same plant in the same place as yours(the one in front of the filter! No lie, I've had mine setup for about 4 monthes.

I might be doing a Mbuna Cichild Tank.
I want it to Include the
Electric Yellow Cichlid and the Red or Blue Peacock Cichlid. I currently Have a topic in the African Cichlids section about what other cichlids are compatable.
Have an idea?
Post it in there.....

you're going to have to do a ton of redecorating if you want mbuna in there... you'll need to add lots and lots of rockwork/caves

other than that, looks pretty good! can't wait to see further developments.

I realized that.
I bought all my decorations b efore I decided I didn't want to do another gourami tank. :/

So now I just need to find a place to buy aqurium ready rocks, and lots of cave....

what do you think of the aqua-tech filters? i have one and personally i don't like it, not that it dosnt work or anything i just prefer the aqua clean because i can clean it alot easier and squish everything out of the individual bags

Lol, I dunno why I had that on top of the tank while I was taking pictures...maybe I just didn't notice it....silly me....
Those new filter catrages go to my 10Gs. I keep the new ones under my 55G, and I guess I just forgot.
I like the filters, they work good for me. Plus they're cheap, and on my budget, it works great!
The tank still looks the same, seeing as I cannot find good rock that I'd dare use in my aqurium.
Just because I'm woundering, could I use rocks from lake Superior?
Or where else would I find some nice ones for sale?

yeah but you know what the sad part is? You know the little containers they have them in at wal-mart, well they have hundreds, so you know that they don't feed them all, and they don't have ant air. I gotta stop because it makes me want to cry just thinking about it.

I can't find my sisters camera right now, but my tank is completely different.
It has 3 peices of lava rock, and a plain blue background (Looks stunning with the blue backdrop).
I have 3 cichlids in there right now.
I'm buying more tomorow.
I'm going to "A World Of Fish."
They have a sweet selection I've heard. I bet there'll be soo many fish there I've never seen before.
I'm pretty excited.

Believe it or not, after almost completeing this tank, I've already got a 75G SW tank in the works.
I got my mom hooked on Blue Tangs. She thinks their fantastic.
Now I just have to convince dad to finish the basement.
I'm sure mom'll pitch in a butt load of money for it.
Only if the basement gets finished for it.

I'll post pictures of my 55G as soon as I get my hands on a camera...
