All My Familys Tanks And Bettas!

so my older sister just lost her female betta... and was a little depressed... so i took her my old 5 gallon tank (she has only ever had 2.5 gallon ones) and while she was at work i throw her together a new tank... it was all silk plants from my younger sisters and stuff i had laying around... and my filter and heater and all from when i upgraded my tank... so its not the prettiest but its alot better then her previous 2.5 gallon NEON TANK!!!

Not Named yet new Male!!! Only inhabitant for now...

Hes very very shy yet... but is eating well... we got to the store just as they got them in... were just unloading them from the shipping box...

This is my younger sisters tank... i have been slowly helping her switch to live plants... but she had to hav e 3 nerite snails and they have been making quiet a mess of there bogwood...
Its a 5 gallon tank too...

and here is Mr. Fish!!!

He loves to show off and LOVES attention!!!

and here is my yonger sisters boyfriends tank... he didnt want to take the natural rute... and needs a good algea cleaning...

And Lunar wasnt to happy this morning and was actually flaring at me for like the second time EVER!!! so i snuck some pix!!!

Can anyone tell me what colors/ patterns the first 3 fish are... was never very good at that....

HEE HEE Thanks i love him!!! when i got him he only had a very small bit of blue... and over about 5 months he has gotten alot more!!! so i cant wait to see if he keeps changeing

FIRST!!! Lunar is very laid back... like i said this is only like the second time he has ever flared...
i keep 5 Male Endlers (there colorfull so sometimes the betta wont take kindly to them)
5 Cherry shrimp (again some bettas will just make a snack of these)
1 Zebra Nerite snail (Lunar actually tries to lay on it)
1 Dwarf clawed frog

my tank is 8 gallon i am at a 98% stocking right now... so i keep a very good cleaning schedule...

also with the endlers i only keep males so they dont reproduce and get out of control!!! and the femals are almost double the male size my males. they are almost a year old and are only 3/4 an inch...

i would say the red male is bi-color (possibly marbled if you could get a clearer pic), the first male is orange x-yellow (i only say cross as orange is usually more reddish that the betta in question but he is orange) and your sister's BF's is turquoise

Thanks Beth!! its so hard to get any better of a picture of Mr. Fish!!! i closed all the blinds tried with a flash and without... at an angle and with no angle... honestly i took around 30 pictures of this fish and those two were the best... his scales are realy reflective... so that made it so much harder...

Thank You Flute!!!! i said no more bettas but when i saw him i knew i was going to buy him... i actually left the store and went to another one (looking for a nice female for my sister...) but went back to get him... i couldnt pass him up.... he spends all his time explore all my plants and keeping an eye on what everyones doing inside and out of the tank...

I just read yoour post about Lunar and the shrimp, very funny. I once had a betta named Delta (yes, he was a Delta), and he was super calm. He was in a 10 gallon alone, so I was like, let's get Delta a few friends! Well, the pet store had awsome shrimp, I can't remember what kind, for 20 $ each . I got 8 of them, and lets just say that Delta had the most expensive snack of his life, a 160 buck dinner!

I didnt say this but i was plannig to make my tank a dwarf puffer tank... after having an issue with a filter (i actually started zapping the fish) and i lost everyone but my dwarf clawed frog... so i couldnt get the dwarf puffer yet so i got the endlers and then the shrimp!!! and then i found Lunar... and last my Zebra nerite snail... so all my origial plans for the dwarf puffer went out the window... lol but im happy with my tank... and i will just have to get another tank or just be patient somemore...

lol well at least i found out where the 11 shrimp went... Cherrys are expencive around me the cheapest i could find them for was $6 something a peice...
