Algone?

Has anyone know about the product Algone? It claims it clears up bacterial and algae bloom. I wanted to know if anybody has used it and what results did you get.

Nope, never heard of it . But in my experience, bacterial/algae blooms are relatively common in new tank set ups and disapear relatively soon with some water changes, so if you tank is under 4months old i wouldn't worry about it too much- the best way to get rid of algae is to simply leave the tank lights off for a couple of days with the tank covered up and then to do some water changes, as algae cannot live without light for very long at all .
