Hiya everyone just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the algie that sticks to the glass, i do reguler water changes, tanks very healthy, water levels are always good so where a'm i going wrong, so i need some advice how to get rid of it or how to clean it the best way possiable. thank you all for your time i'll look forward to hearing from you. Craig

either get a maget cleaning thing (dont know the name of it, but ask at your lfs)
its basically 2 bits of magets attached to a bit of cleaning cloth stuff, one magnet on each side of the tank glass, so u move it from the outside and it cleans it from the inside.

Or you could get a placo or 2 (aka suckerfish) they cool and look great and are pretty fast munchers of algie.

How big is the tank? I would get a pleco or two. I have 2 right now in my 46 gallon. One is supposed to grow to 5-6 inches and the other to 3-4 I guess. That is what the sheets said on them. I had algae and 2 of these have irradicated the problem in less than a week. The smallest is only an inch right now and the other is 3.5 inches. Plecos are cool too. I have only had my tank up for going on 2.5 months, so there was not a lot of brown algae, but 80 is gone I would say. Just a little tracing on the leaves of my fake plants.
