Algae that looks like cobwebs

I was just cleaning my betta tank and when I was all done I looked in the middle divided section and theres white/clear cobweb like algae on the silk plant leaves and even on the airstone tubing :/

It looks exactly like the cobwebs you see in the corners of rooms where spiders have been. ewwwy :sick:

What is it?? The other sections dont have it. The only difference between the 2 that dont have it and the one that does is that I have an ADF in there. Any connection?? :unsure:
 
Ohh just looked at the frog and he seems to have it coming from his body...do frogs do that? I know its like slime stuff when he sheds but this is a lot of stuff!! I just looked on the bottom of the sand and theres a bunch of it.

I'm gonna do a gravel vac and get it out of there :sick:

EDIT:Ok it's solved...it was my frog shedding..I watched it come off his body...I've never seen him shed this much though..scared me :lol:
