Algae Problems With Discus

if you have a algae problem in with your discus how could you get rid of it ? would you add some sort of pleco or algae eatter in with them or ?

Is you tank by a window? because mine is by my patio doors and i get horrific algae problems in the summer, i literally have to scrape my glass daily.
