Hi all,

Ive got afew subtropical aquariums (room temp), algae isnt a big problem and its fine to scrape it off but i was wondering if there are any snails (ramshorn ect) or even small fish (unlikly) that would feed on the algae and be happy in an aquarium, just too add another interesting lifeform to the aquarium.

Many thanks

most snail not sure about fish

Nerite snails... Otocinclus Affinis ( Oto Cat ) can live in water's with a temperature of 20'C... ( no lower however )

Yeah, I second Otos. They're actually semi-coldwater fish and apparently do better at room temperature than tropical tanks.
