Alder Wood For Tank

hello folks,

I recently got a nice bit of alder wood with the bark still on it for my tank. My mate has some in his and seems to be ok, I boiled it and scrubbed it and now its soaking in a bucket for a while so it sinks.

But I was just wondering if anyone else has used alder wood and has any info on it for putting in the tank.

most wood will be ok for aquatic use provided it is not green (IE contains sap).

Cool, no its totally dried out I dont think there is any sap in there. Cheers wolf
