A pic of this tank setup and clear.
The tank has been setup for a a month or so now. added some plants other day, wethere they suvive is another thing the chiclids have already started to bite chuncks of the vallis.

NICE Setup.
Be Careful with your your magnetic Algae cleaner and the sandy bottom. You can get a piece of sand
stuck on your your pad, and this can scratch the glass. (It Happened to me)
 
That looks fantastic simon. I'm thinking of something like that if my plants don't work out.

What type of rocks have you used? Granite?

Yer local sand stone from them there hills, went for a trip to one of the local streams to find som intresting rocks.

Thanks for the kind comments :D i hope the vallis will grow, it will look fab as it fills the back corner out, a sort of reed bed on a lake bank.
Wel thet was the idea anyway.
 
Fab tank mate, and great build. Made to measure things always look the best.

Off to make one for my self now... :hyper:
