today i saw these for the first time ever, and was just wondering if anyone knew anyhting abou them, like do they grow to the same as a normal paradise fish or anything like tha, as they are a little smaller than a normal paradise fish, i got 2 of them today
Can't help you out. However, I suggest you not make impulse buys without doing research. Had it been a colorful fish you picked out (becasue of the color) and had it been dyed, you would have wasted your money.
i dont buy dyed fish mate, never i do know what not to buy and to buy, usually but they are paradise fish same shape same breed just wanted to know if anyone else had kept or seen them etc
If you purchases 2 males, your going to be in for some trouble since they will fight to the death in most cases. They are the same as normal paradise fish except for their obvious lack of colour
i am fairly sure it is a pair mate, but they are still fairly young so wether they will develop any ore and then i'll maybe get a better view, but they seem to be fine right now,
Hiya,
Paradise fish should be treated like Bettas, they are just as aggressive, spawn the same eg: bubblenesters, and also have a labrynth organ like a betta.
The Albino ones are my favourite (they aren't dyed ) They make great pond fish during summer as they tolerate lower water temps then bettas, as low as 22C.
Cute fish fin nippers Be prepared to keep yours in solitary if he misbehaves. Also remember not to keep a pair together unless for breeding
