I am not sure if it is an emergancy but his behavior has been very wierd and strange from a typical oscar. He rarely comes out in the open and only goes up and down on the side of the glass, he almost moped around. He is only about 3" big and he came from my LFS in a tank with about 5 other albinos. I think he could just be pouting but then i noticed around the giles he has seemed to loss color and has some gray on the gil plate. He only eats frozen foods and he has very fine black lines on his fins which from what i was told was from stress. I just removed the tank bully that never really bothered him and he is in a 75gallon with a salvini, jd, BN plec, and a jewel that will get rehomed. He has been in the tank for a week and 4 days along with the jewel, bn pelc who have adapted fine and my salvini has only been in there for 2 days and he is fine with great colors. All fish are close the same size except the salvini which is a little bigger than the oscar. Do you need any more information? Is this just stress?

okay this is serious now he has not ate in one week and refused BW last night

Look into gills flukes.
Need water stats first.
Gills being pale with excess mucas on them, or red and inflamed.
Not eating.
Going thin.
Spitting.
Swimming in a jerky movement.
Being lethagic.
Gasping.

He is not thin but he is not big. He doesn't eat but sometimes does. Doesn't swim in jerky movments. Not lethagic and not gasping or excess mucus. I am keeping the lights off to test if it is stress now.

And thank has been up for 2 months with plenty of biological filtration. (two full seeded sponges and two full bio wheels)

Looking at stress to gill flukes so keep an eye on him.
Something wrong, can you issolate him so he on his own.

no i do not think i can, and now his belly is sunken in and he is real skiny

should i use Pimafix or Jungle Parasite Clear Tank Buddies

A fish can get internal flukes as well.
How long has he not been eating just to make sure, as flukes can make a fish go thin.
Pimafix is no good.
What does the jungle parasite clear treat is it both external and internal parasites.

yes, i just got some of the jungle stuff, and yes it treats both internal and external. He already looks better because he just ate flake and he swims in the open water instead of just up and down the glass, i will update as he/she makes progress to a full recovery

Good luck, fingers crossed.

and he eats, for some reason he will not eat flake but only pellets and bloodworms, i am doing another dose after i do my water change

Ok, go to the right part of the forum and ask about the fish diet, as dried foods and bloodworms are to high in protein and can cause problems.
