can anyone help me out on this one??
regards, community

if it has pink eyes well yes it is and a completely blank guppy is also a very rare guppy try to get some pics of it i want to see it

That sounds like a mutation. If its in good health , maybe you want to try and breed a new line from it. May be a recessive and unstable trait however and may not breed true. V interesting though!

Albinism is possible in any species of animal (although in the wild, especially, the chances of them survivng are very low.) The chances of an albino mutation occuring are not high, but they're not zero, either.

Ime, albino fish are not white-white, but rather a white that's tinted slightly yellow (look at albino cories, for one example.) True albinos will have pink or red pupils, as well.

Even if she's not an albino, definitely try to breed a line!

if it is a true albino and you are able to breed from it and create a whole line of albino's then i think they could be worth quite a nice little amount, iv never heard/seen albino guppies so im sure alot of people would be eager to get their hands on them

oh god thats the worst thing you could of said, theres a vast majority of "sceptical" people on here
it was like a witch hunt lol

It's so true.

It seems like a lot of people (not just on these forums) get to a point where they think that they know everything (like little kids in the know-it-all stage--not everyone grows out of it), and they think that anything outside of their experience is either a lie or someone else being ignorant or stupid.

Personally, I've seen enough odd things and had my expectations proven wrong enough that I keep an open mind about new things. You never know when something "right" will turn out to be wrong or only sometimes right--there are exceptions to every rule, and just because a person doesn't have absolutely irrefutable proof, that does not mean that they are wrong.

I'll trust the OP to know what he's talking about, and hopefully at some point he will be able to give us "proof." ;) Malfunctioning electronics are no reason to arrogantly string a person up.

Their are many true line of albino's and they are seen in shops from time to time. But i suspect that what your getting is a "blond" this is not albino, it's a sweet creamy coloured guppy and their just as common as the normal fish just a different base colour.

It just depends on the eye's, if their normal it's a blond, if their red it's a albino.
