Hi! Another new girl. I have 2 albino corys and it turns out ones a girl and ones a boy. So, we had a spawning and I put a sceen seperator in the tank (29 gallon) so the Betta, cardinal tetra, and mom and dad could not eat the eggs. They were on a leaf so I just moved it over. I read it takes 3-5 days so I was very surprised when one of the 45 I saved hatched at only two days. It was at the bottom of the ank and kept swimming 1/2 way up and then would fall back down. Sad to say he did not make it. So I decided that it was just too long of a journey for the little guys so I rearrainged things and made it to where they would have a platform in the center of the tank. Anyway when I woke up this morning all the eggs had hatched and no babies. I think they could have fell to the bottom, or maybe I should of had food ready, or maybe just set up another tank (didnt have time or $ this time around) I'm so sad for those little guys...any ideas on what went wrong? There was no fungus and they all hatched by the looks of it, it is possible that mom and dad got them but I doubt they would of gotten into the screen section.
