So my ablino cory cat laid eggs yesterday morning, but today when i tested the water I noticed a small spike in ammonia in the tank (went from 0ppm to about 0.25ppm-0.50ppm) so by instinct I want to do a water change because of the ammonia, but I didnt know if doing so will kill off all the eggs or freak out the parents.
So should I just leave things alone, or do a water change? Keeping in mind I am not intentionally trying to breed my fish, it just happened as a part of nature taking its course.
My reading from this morning (API Master test kit, liquid drops):
pH: 6.6/6.8
Ammonia: 0.25/0.50ppm
NitrIte: 0ppm
NitrAte: between 10 and 20ppm
