Hi Guys n Gals, Not posted for a while, Hope everybody is doing well?
Over 1 year ago i bought 5 Bronze & 2 Albino Corys, 4 of the Bronze are Female & the 2 Albinos are Female, Leaving only 1 male. Eggs are layed regularly all over the glass, filters, plants....Just everywhere really.
With only having 1 male i did not think he would be able to fertilize all the eggs? Bet he is loving life right now 😄
Anyways ive never been fast enough to collect any eggs or simply could not be bothered collecting them, But last week i did my first egg collection, Dropped them in a breeder & they hatched 😁. Yesterday i found a ton of eggs next to the trap with the newborns in, So i dropped them in the breeder too.
Im super excited so will post pics when i can get some decent ones

I have a 10 Gallon bare bottom grow out tank with a sponge filter, Will move all hatched in to that as i know the fry are good at escaping the breeder box even though mine has tiny slits in, I have since put panty hose around the holes in the breeder with a small airstone in until hatching. I know feeding is not really an issue until free swimming , So i am armed with first bites & BBS in the hatchery, I am totally ready for this 😁

So i managed to get a picture of the first 1 to hatch, He/She was darting around like mad 😁
