I recently had the good fortune to come across a maxima clam for a really good price so I bought it. The only thing is that it has several resident Aitapsia sprouting from the scoots. Other than trying peppermint shrimps what other ways are there of eliminating this pest? My normal suggest to others is a blowtorch but I feel that may be just slightly detrimental to the clam..... Any ideas would be kindly received.

Many thanks

Joe

Unfortunately not it is only a 24g. A flefish made be a little on the 'cosy' side. There is already 5 fish in there as well. Also remember those emerald crabs you said try with regards reducing caulerpa... that didn't work too well; the crab pushes the caulerpa aside and eats the hair algae LOL. He is fascinating to watch though.

Many thanks for the reply Seffie
