Hey guys-
Ok, we have a 6g with a filter that produces what seems to be a pretty gentle current. My betta and adf will be in there- my question is can an airstone go in there as well or would that be too much in such a small area? Opinions welcome! Thanks!

Is there a reason why you want to put an airstone in there? It's really uneccesary, especially if you have a filter running. :)

Haha, well, I really wouldn't bother with the airstone. It won't do anything except most likely annoy your betta. ;)

 In a split tank I had one of my old bettas (before I got into serious betta keeping syndrome!) and on other side one black tropical and one baby.. so betta had the heater and they had the air stone. Every five minutes or so a bubble would escape to the bettas side. He used to rush up to investigate by which time it had gone! Not every time but he would sort of wait for the bubble ..to get it! I didnt move it because he seemed to be playing and was really happy :good: :good:
