Hi all, well today i bought an external breeding box for when my fishes are about to pop with fry as im going to try my hand at rearing some for the first time.
It needs a air pump so im just wondering what air pumps you would reccomend for this sort of thing (and for use with air stones now and again).

I have a 64L tank and im hoping for it too be at a reasonable price.

Also i have no were high to keep the pump to stop water from going into the pump itself so is there anything i can do to stop this from happening or is it very rare this happens.

:)

Just about any air pump should do the job.

You can get control valves which would control the flow of air that would suit.

As for your worries of water getting into the pump, you can get a non return valve which would stop water getting into the pump but does not restrict the air coming out and into the tank.

These are from P@H but any LFS or online are pretty much the same and can be cheaper, shop around. To give you an idea, here's a non return valve or check valve.

Here is a gang valve, this is for 2 air lines but can be used just for one line.
