Ahhh! My Dt Male Keeps Jumping Over The Divider!

I have the water lowered enough to where there's about an inch of divider above the water level, and he keeps jumping! His fins are all torn up. He jumped it sometime last night while I was asleep and Alpha tore him up pretty well. Alpha came out with a couple rips on his fins, but seems fine otherwise. This is the third time I've caught him jumping the divider!

I'm getting another 3g tank on Monday...hopefully he'll hold off this jumping for long enough that I can get him into it.

I would lower the leverl to about 3inches just until you can get him in his own tank with lid, them buggers really can jump.

3 inches? Really! That makes my tank look really silly, but if I have to do it, I have to do it.

That little ornery thing jumped over AGAIN before I got the water lowered. It's a good thing the divider next to him's empty now that Alpha's in the spawning tank. Hopefully this helps!
