Ah! Help Killi Problems!

hi,
i think my female golden wonder killi has worms.
she has i kind of beat up anal area and has these 2 thread like strings comming out her vent.
what do i do?

Thin red wormlike things hanging out of the fish's bum are camallanus worms. These are quite common in fish and can be treated with Levamisole Hydrochloride. Most vets can supply it. If it is unavailable then try getting some flubendazole. You will need to treat the entire tank because the other fish will probably have it. If you are unable to get any medication for a week or so make sure the fish are really well fed. The worms suck the blood out of the fish via the intestinal wall and the fish waste away. If you feed the fish really well you will help it survive for longer. Make sure you keep an eye on water quality when you increase the feeding and remove any uneaten food.
