Hey

ive got one dwarf blue gourami ive had sometime I got him from my LFS with 1 other a year back and he was very nasty to his fellow tank mate. he kept bullying the other into the corner till I found him dead one morning. My question is that I want to add more fish to this tank would it be a good idea to get a few more gouramis? or some other breed of fish? if you can advise me what to get that would be so helpfull!

Thanks

Carl :D :D :D

How much bigger? - clown loaches should be in groups & need tanks of over 400litres -I had some outgrow a 650 litre tank.
Scissor tails should also be kept in groups.
I would wait until the new tank is ready before getting any more fish.

Hi :) 60 litres is only about 15 gallons which is far too small for a clown loach. Unless you plan to get a tank of 55 gallons +, I'de strongly advise returning the loach.

Like diademhill said, I wouldn't realy want to add anything to this tank until you've upgraded. If anything, a couple more scissortails are needed to keep the current one compant. Scissortails are a kind of rasbora - and most rasboras are schooling fish, which need to be kept in groups.

Once you've upgraded your tank, there are lots and lots of species of fish that would get along with what you already have - though depeniding on tank size of course.

As for specificaly getting gouramies, that depends on precisely which species you're cosnidering. You mentioned dwarf gouramies - a single male would be ok but these are fragile fish and better suited to a very calm, mature tank. If you get a tank that's large enough for your clown loach(es) (or if you return the one you have now), you're tank would also be able to accomodate some of the larger, but peaceful, gouramies such as the pearl gourami or, perhaps, some of the medium-size banded (colisa fasciata) gouramies. With both these species (note that these are not 'breeds' of gourami/fish like you get with dogs or cats, they are entirely different animals - seperate species) a trio (1 male, 2 females) works best with at least 10 gallons per fish - so a tank of 30 gallons minnimum for a trio of pearls or bandeds. :)
