my two dwarf jewel cichlids have started to be agressive for some reason, the water stats are fine and they've always had a bit of a grouch betweent themself but now its worse than ever! and if its not agression with them two, they are bullying other fish in the tank! i bought them from a differend fish store than i usally do and they are quite a while away from me so dya think i shud take them back to my lfs?! thanks corey

Go to the cichlid part of the forum.
Sounds like you are going to have to rehome one of them.
Good luck.

When chicklids start to mature (and pair off) they get very territorial. Unless you have a realy big tank they will do this. Jewel's are not known to be good community fish anyway. Wilder probably has the best solution to your problem. Don T.

yes i agree ill go to my lfs this morning and see if they will take one or both of them:( they are the dwarf variety of the jewels and and arnt really supposed to show agression  according to all of the sites anyway
anyway thanks for the help corey

i took them back to the pet shop and my tank is finally at rest..few.. im now looking for replacements i either want 3-4 khuli loaches........2 dwarf gouramis..........2 swordtails.........or 3 honey gouramis if it was your choice which would you choose?!

I'd go for Honey Gouramis rather than the Dwarves; Dwarf Gouramis are susceptible to the fatal Iridovirus.
