i bought 3 ocellatus shell dwellers and they all kind of seem to show agression towards each other but 2 of them chill in the same shell could they all be males? or has this happened w/ mixed genders w/ any of you?

hey, i havn't got any experience with shell dwellers yet (i will have in 24 hours.. see my journal :hyper: ) but i have done enough reaserch to right a book with lol.

1st off what size tank have you got them in, and how many shells
secondly gold shell dweller is a bit vauge there are many different kinds all behave quite differently, when you say two share the same shell it makes me think of brevis but the gold could also describe ocellatus. Have a look at those two pictures and see if they are your fish.

Shell dwellers are only small fish but will defend there areas viciously, and are known to attak hands and gravel vacs.
