I introduced a Parrot Fish recently and having researched it and been advised that they are placid i was astonished to find that for 2 days solid he has done nothing but attack my Silver Dollars and Angels, is this something he will eventually become bored with.? should i have introduced 2 x Parrots or what can anybody reccomend.? thanks

As parrots are hybrids you never know exactly how they'll turn out, some do turn out to be quite placid but some can be highly aggressive,
for now try rearranging the tank to break up the lines of site and see if it improves, If not your only real option is to rehome the parrot.

Not just hybrids, but the parent species are cichlids, which is already a wildcard. I've read on a number of sites that they're placid fish and can be kept with community fish, but then there's been posts here on the forums of them being aggressive above and beyond other big cichlids and even killing fish bigger than themselves.
