Aggressive Male Molly

I have two mollies, one orange lytail (female) and one reg silver molly (male). For a while the male has been "all up on" the female, and I figured this was because the female was pregnant. But since it's given birth last week to about 20ish babies the male is still all up on her. It looks like the male is trying to bite at the underside of the female. And this happens all the time. Is this normal? Should I separate them? What should I do?

I've already got the babies in a separate tank and they are doing just fine.

You need more female for 1 male
