just want to know i am looking to getting some for my 29 gallon, although i have a very aggressive krib that will defend his hiding spot to the death, just want to know

thanks

No!

Cories will not observe territorial boundries. They have no defenses. They are a soft water fish. An aggressive Krib will either kill the Corys or drive them into hiding.

And then kill them.

The only Cichlids that can be kept with Corys are the milder varieties of apistogramma, such as cockatoos. Then the Cories will eat the eggs.

Kribs are very adaptable and will breed in either soft, acidic water, hard and alkaline, or even mildly brackish. All this does is effect the sex ratio of the fry you get, so a conflict in water chemistry isn't really the issue. What is, however, is that the krib will terrorize the cories and kill them, especially if it's breeding. That is certain. A breeding male will tackle a fish more than 2x its size, and win! And when they are both devoted parents, then the rest of the fish occupy a tiny corner at the tanks surface. I only kept a breeding pair with dither fish. Zebra danios were my choice, surface-swelling, and very fast, a good complement to the breeding pair.

A definite no no.
