Aggressive Convict!

Yesterday I took the eggs out of my 29 gallon with a pair of breeding convicts, and their 2 month old half inch fry.Now my male is extremely aggressive against the female. I feel sorry for her, because wenever he sees here she is chased around the tank. Is this normal, or should I take one out?

Seperate them before he kills her. This kind of thing is typical of convicts. When they breed, they get all worked up over protecting their eggs/fry. if you remove what they're protecting (or the opposite - if your emove what they are protecting them from), they tend to turn against each other.
